[installation]
_____________________

1] unzip ALL files to your mIRC directory (they may be in a sub-directory if you so choose)
2] type the following in any mIRC window and hit enter. (use the second example if you chose to unzip to a subdirectory, YOURFOLDER is the name of that subdirectory)

/load -rs mp3n.ini OR /load -rs YOURFOLDER\mp3n.ini

3] choose "Yes" to run initialization commands
4] follow the on-screen instructions for setup

[known issues]
_____________________
-using the fast forward or rewind option can screw up the timer. also kind of relates to the following...
-the timer seems to sometimes not count exactly right...not exactly sure why, but it seems to be related somehow to doing stuff in windows. ie if you dont do anything its more accurate
-you can fast forward or rewind past the end of a song and even into negative time on the time elapsed counter for songs

[release notes (changes)]
_____________________
[\v5.1] [release date: Feb 28, 2002]
-did some minor cosmetic changes - bigger control buttons, divider lines for buttons at bottom
-added queue feature!
-added some error checking
-fixed up the installation a bit
-fixed bug where the radio button would not show if you chose "send to window" in options

[\v5.0] [release date: Feb 17, 2002]
-blank lines no longer inserted when cancelling adding a single file, or after adding a directory
-adding a bunch of files at once using add dir will go quickly now, and wont cause your mIRC to stop responding
-timer will now work correctly after reaching 10 minutes
-added a button to SORT the playlist alphanumerically! very handy
-playlist will now stay minimized when you are using continous play. note that if you have closed down the playlist thingie completely (using the X button in upper right) it will still stay up. (TIP: hit enter to close it quickly)
-fixed a continuous play bug
-cleaned up everything a bit
-you can now install to the sub-directory of your choice, instead of only to mirc's root directory

:::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::

[\v4.2]
-made playlist window wider
-made song title bar longer
-cosmetic improvements to gui
-volume control removed (who needs it? nobody. thats who.)
-sped up adding an mp3 directory for mIRC 5.91 and up a little
-fixed problem where if you were using continuous play and closed the gui, mp3n would not play the next song
-timer now pauses and resumes when you hit pause or resume from pause, respectively
-fast forwarding and rewinding should now be (a little) more accurate with respect to the timer
-fixed a little bug when that occured when you removed a single file
-added (get this) a HORIZONTAL SCROLL BAR to the playlist window! yes i know, its amazing! it will only appear when the file song length is too big for the normal size of the window.

[other notes & useful info]
_____________________
please feel free to set your song playing message to the custom window instead
of a channel that gets pissed off with spam :D

some people seem to think that not including the file path in the playlist window would be
better, however, what if you have your mp3s organized in folders, so the artist is not necessarily in the file name?

if continuous play is checked, mp3n will play the next song in your list
when the current song finishes, and will continue to do so until you stop it

if continuous play and random are checked, mp3n will just keep playing random
files until stopped

if random is checked, mp3n will play a random file from the current playlist,
even if you double click on a file in your playlist

if you get an error like
* /splay: no such file
that means the file has moved or for some very strange reason cant be found by mIRC
sorry, but theres nothing I can do about that

if you get an error like this
* /splay: unable to play
there is something wrong with the mp3 file you're trying to play.....it can
be found, however it may be damaged or corrupt for some reason (nothing i
can do about this either)
